  3.     This tape contain the Unix 4.2bsd Toolpack 1 Release 2.
  4.  
  5.     You a strongly reccomended to read README.X before procceeding
  6. with the make.
  7.  
  8.     To create toolpack:
  9.  
  10.     1] Edit scriptsource/toolpackpath and give it the correct
  11.        path location.
  12.  
  13.     2] Type make and watch it go (it takes quite a while).
  14.  
  15.     3] Place the directory tool_scripts in your path.
  16.  
  17.     The scripts in tool_scripts control certain toolpack tools,
  18. type: scripts to get an explanation of the scripts.
  19.  
  20. Additional tools have been included for your use. These are istgi,
  21. istin, istpp, istun, istva, istvs, istvw, istfr, istfp, istjs, istrf,
  22. and istp2. Do with them as you will.

  29. Type 'make install' and settle for a cup of coffee.

  31. You'll need a tcsh or similar as /bin/csh, and the version of f2c which
  32. was included in libf2c 0.8.

  34. As is, toolpack installs into /usr/local/toolpack1.2; the scripts, which
  35. you want to call, reside in /usr/local/toolpack1.2/tool_scripts.
